Vernon Vera, a member of the Tule River Tribe, has been involved in program development and management for over 21 years. And during that time, he has been successful in increasing revenues for tribal governments and native organizations in California. Most of his successes as a resource developer has been in the areas of tribal economic development and enhancing tribal infrastructure, including: Housing, Law enforcement, Roads, Water Resources, Telecommunications; Indian Education, Native Culture Development, Tribal Youth Development, Health and Nutrition, Energy Resources and Environmental Protection. As a former member of the Tule River Tribal Council, he is knowledgeable in tribal government, policy development and sovereignty issues.
