Wanda Jean Lord (Cherokee/Choctaw Descent)
Principal Consultant


With nearly 30 years experience - Wanda Jean Lord is dedicated to finding funding for Tribes & Native Nonprofits, their allies, and other mainstream public & private entities.
She has taught at National Indian Gaming Association workshops, Native Americans in Philanthropy gatherings, Native Learning Center conferences and online courses, and her work has been cited by Loyola University, City University of New York and others. 
Wanda Jean has been a Tribal Administrator, Tribal Development Officer, and Tribal Grants Administrator and has taught many tribal employees how to properly apply for, secure, manage and close federal funding in compliance with all applicable regulations.
She has obtained federal funding and direct loan awards in value up to $12.7 million each, including awards resulting in the construction of a 45,000 sq ft tribal government center.

Construction Project Funding Services
Do you have a preferred A&E provider and a construction project that needs funding?
We have collaborated with architectural firms to provide services to previous clients including the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe (MA),  Navajo Nation's EPA (AZ/NM), Pascua Yaqui Development Corporation (AZ), White Mountain Apache Tribe (AZ) and the Tomaquag Museum (RI) for services like:
pre-construction facilities planning, needs/site fit assessments, site planning, preliminary engineering reports, environmental narrative reports, site options negotiations, securing funding to bring fee lands into Trust, construction financing proposals and more.   
Our work has resulted in funded planning grants in the $50,000 - $75,000 range, and  land purchase and construction awards ranging from $600,000 to $12.7 million per award.
